The objectives varied widely depending on the nature of each project. In product-focused teams, the design work was often solution-based — guided by specific business goals and user insight. In marketing contexts, the objectives were typically campaign-led, often spanning multiple online and offline touch-points where visual cohesion was essential. Each piece of media had a defined purpose, with creative execution contributing directly to engagement, conversion or awareness metrics. In all cases, brand alignment was critical, and I regularly worked within defined style guides or contributed to their evolution.
Across both corporate and freelance environments, I was responsible for translating a range of business, product or campaign needs into effective visual outcomes. In a product setting, this involved aligning with user goals and context. In marketing, it required rapid understanding of briefs, campaign messaging and production requirements. I often worked closely with regional teams to tailor assets for localisation, or adapt for varied media specifications.
