Smiths Medical website design

Objectives

Redesign the Smiths Medical website to address usability, accessibility, and responsiveness issues that were leading to user frustration and high drop-off rates. The aim was to create a more intuitive, engaging experience that supported both user tasks and business goals, especially around product discovery and content engagement.

My role

I led the visual design of the new site, from early wireframes through to high-fidelity prototypes. Collaborating with the internal team, I also contributed to the content strategy—helping align page structures and media with user expectations. I worked in agile sprints, continuously iterating on feedback from stakeholders and testing insights, and coordinated closely with the external development agency (Yoyo) to ensure a smooth hand-off and consistent execution.
